Its transformation from typical Mallorcan manor house to 'designer' hotel has been carried out with painstaking attention to detail so that the original Gothic features are retained.

Overview of the resort

Once a manor house, Hotel Moustache was apparently named after its owner of several hundred years ago, who sported extremely flamboyant whiskers. Taking its name from the Mallorcan word for moustache, Hotel Can Mostatxins was born. Hotel Can Mostatxins features nine elegantly designed unique rooms and is the only boutique hotel within the walls of Alcudia to feature a magnificent spa pool.

The house contains many stunning and unique features. Perhaps the greatest discovery has been the ancient wine press, uncovered for all to see again in the basement of the hotel, which predates the house. The walls of the bedrooms have exposed original pale sandstone and the floors are covered in a light, oil treated oak. The wooden beams have been lime washed and the ancient windows beautifully restored.

Hotel Can Mostaxins owner Mark Worthington and his fantastic team offer an incredible level of personal service. The house lends itself to be able to create a very beautiful bespoke and special celebration for your wedding. Mark and his team have an expert vendor list in Mallorca and working closely together you will be able to create a very unique and individual event.

    August is the hottest month in Majorca with an average temperature of 25°C and the coldest is January at 10°C. We recommend Summer months.

  • Legalities

    If neither of you are a resident in Spain, you need to perform the civil part of your wedding in the country you live in. This can be as simple as booking a registry office and asking for the minimum service. You can then have a ceremony to celebrate your marriage in Mallorca.
